To do list Part 2

You are 42 per cent more likely to achieve your goals if you write them down. The bad news? It is likely that your New Year's resolutions might not pan out the way you planned, if at all.  While 60 per cent of people abandon their resolutions within six months, 25 per cent of people abandon them within a mere 7 days. Now, this is happening to even me, so am not left out.  The good news? You can always resolve to improve yourself or go after an achievement, no matter what time of year. If resolutions don't work, and you want to take your to-do lists to the next level, get serious about goal-setting. Last year, I once discussed and wrote a blog on a to-do list...  Click do list blog post If you go through or read through Psychology by professor Dr Gail Matthews, at the Dominican University in California, he led a study on goal-setting with nearly 270 participants.  You are 42 per cent more likely to achieve your goals if you ...

E-book Lover

Happy New Year lovelies, It’s 4:28 am, not feeling sleepy at all,  well actually, it’s been happening for some time now, my sleeping schedule/Routine or should I say pattern changed all of a sudden, I sleep or feel more sleepy during the day and then up and running at night. For a long time, like a few months ago I came across an application called “Dreame” is a story / Novel app, I read from my Playbook all the time but then I also read from Wattpad too, trust me I love the books and stories there, on Wattpad I feel in love with the story titles My little mate,  mute story How are you? By Lourdes the torture, Even though am not still done reading, it’s quite interesting to read trust me. Am not much of a novel or story reader,  so when I see one that attracts me I go for it and so am currently reading two novels from different apps, I know it’s funny but the thing is, I read based on my moods. In my Playbook, which is on the play store,  am current...

To a Loved One

" If you were to write a letter to a close friend, boyfriend, lover or husband how will it go, please leave a short note in the comment section below😉" Where to even begin? I am writing to you today to remind you of how much I love you.  READ ME Yes, I know it is not your birthday, Valentine’s Day, or any other special occasion. It’s just an ordinary day; a Thursday to be exact. I’m writing to you today because I just came to the realization that life has been extremely chaotic lately and I have been selfishly choosing to focus on myself instead of you and our relationship.   Click me I would first like to start by telling you that never in my life had I thought that I would ever find someone who loves me the way you do.   Not that I believed that I was incapable of being loved, but I simply could not fathom finding someone who could ever appreciate and cherish me the way I dreamed about. That is until you walked into my life.  Even whe...

Love? (part B)

Loving Someone and Being In Love “True love doesn’t happen right away; it’s an ever-growing process.  It develops after you’ve gone through many ups and downs, when you’ve suffered together, cried together,  laughed together.” – Ricardo  Montalban      justychidd.com Loving someone and being in love with someone are similar feelings with some key differences.  Professional life coach and relationship expert Kemi Sogunle says, “Being in love with someone can stem from infatuation, possessiveness and obsession.  Loving someone, on the other hand, goes beyond physical presence.  You desire to see them grow, you see past their flaws, you see opportunities of building into each other and together; you motivate, encourage and inspire one another.” A lot of the tim...

Less Human

How we become less human, As children, we grew up loving to see people around us.  Nothing gave us more joy than having our siblings, cousins, friends and neighbours around. Our parents had little or nothing, but our glow, strength and wealth were in relationships, especially in families.  The joys and memories of holidays and celebrations remain fresh and evergreen in many hearts.    Mute2 We would usually lose sleep to happiness during such seasons. It was always a delight to see siblings, cousins, nieces, nephews, uncles, aunties, grannies, etc. We shared everything in common. We ate from the same plates, shared the same cups, bathed together, slept on the same mats, and were even covered with the same sheets at night.  We accompanied each other everywhere, including the toilet. One's fight was everyone's fight. One's victory was everyone's victory.  Goal Sadly, as we began to grow up, we began to grow apart. We began to raise fe...

You Grow Old Not The Time

Happy New year, am so glad we all made it. This year, things are going to be a little different, spicy but not too spicy okay? there will be funny notes, stories, inspirational, interactive sessions and it goes on dear.      love? For today, I want you all to be inspired and take charge of this year.                           #TIME#    It is a mistake to think the time is going.  Time is not going. Time is here until the world ends.  It is you that is going. You don’t waste time.  Time is infinite. You waste yourself.  You are finite. It is you that grow old, time doesn’t.  So make better use of it. And one of the worst things to do with time is comparing yourself to others.  A cow eats grass and gets fat but if a dog eats grass, it will die.  change Never compare yourself with others. Run your race.  What works for one person may not w...

Being Good yourself

No matter who you are, how experienced you are and how knowledgeable you think you are, always delay judgment.  Mute2 Give others the privilege to explain themselves. What you see may not be the reality and Never conclude for others. Which is why we should never only focus on the surface and judge others without understanding them first.  Mute1 Those who like to pay the bill, do so not because they are loaded but because they value friendship above money. Those who take the initiative at work, do so not because they are stupid but because they understand the concept of responsibility. Those who apologize first after a fight, do so not because they are wrong but because they value the people around them.   Anniversary Those who are willing to help you, do so not because they owe you anything but because they see you as a true friend. Those who often text you, do so not because they have nothing better to do but because you are in their heart. ...

For the love of Humanity💞💞💞

GIVE. SAVE little spending👀 If you have a daughter, girlfriend or a sister who's grown, always check on them. Give them money now and then to buy pads, underwears, and maybe toiletries. Females sometimes would never ask for these things from us, but they genuinely need them. They might ask from the wrong persons.   make your choice If you have friends/relations who are students, call them sometimes, check on them. If you have #500 or #1000  give them. Life as a student sometimes gets really tough. Your kind gestures to them goes a long way in helping them keep to a positive line.    who you are looking for Men, if you have friends who are currently jobless, call them sometimes in solidarity. When going for a hair cut or shave sometimes, make them come along to get a hair cut or shaved too, while you pay. When recharging your phone, do recharge theirs too.  It may be nothing to you but sure means a lot to a jobless or poor fellow. Their ego woul...

Don't ever look down on yourself

DONT LOOK DOWN ON YOURSELF " We can look up at people who outperform us and we can look down at people to whom we feel superior.  Whether we look up or peer down has critical implications for both our life satisfaction and our motivation.   love is an action word (verb) Looking up makes us feel worse, but can motivate us to strive harder. Looking down makes us feel good, but can lead to complacency.  Thus, social comparisons have the potential to motivate us to perform better but feel worse. Or perform poorly and feel great.   letting go In order to thrive in life, we need to find a balance between feeling good about ourselves while feeling motivated to perform well."  ~Adam Galinsky Do you agree? #courageoushuman  Click - www.justychidd
